Not exactly a shop house, but I just got to draw this charming, little cafe at Tiong Bahru. I remember when I still lived in the neighbourhood, every time I passed-by this cafe from work, I always made a mental note to go have brunch there. Every. Single. Time. Only after a year or so, me and my hubby (boyfriend at that time) finally went there.
Hands down my most favourite shop house so far. I mean, look at that, so full of intricate details.
Here comes the third one. The third shop house in the Singapore Shop House Series.
An antique store. A second entry to this series. I definitely love making these and am contemplating to make a non-digital version as well. I'm thinking gouache, it will so match with the overall look of these shop houses. Well, stay tuned guys.
Shop houses are easily the most fun architecture buildings here in Singapore, mainly thanks to their colour combo. Green and red, orange, purple, all yellow shop house. Imagine living in a purple house, it does lift up your spirit. So, paying homage to these wonderful shop houses, I launched myself into... *drumroll* A Singapore Shop House Series. I'll be creating this digitally, using my trusted iPad Pro with my trusted Procreate app.
And here's post #001.
