From the Oven: Apple Pie
I lost count on how many times this baking session with my friend, miss Di, had been cancelled, so when we actually had a chance on Saturday afternoon we couldn't be more excited. I mean, it's apple pie!
The recipe is from Martha Stewart Pies and Tarts book. We made our pate brisee from scratch and extremely nervous on how the pie would turn out. Well, I can tell you, it's so delicious. Warm and soft apple accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
