Stretch Marks!

As if pregnancy isn't hard work already, I just realized that it can cause stretch marks after giving birth. My colleague told me about it and I'm flipped out. That is because I can so easily get a cellulite and in my head, cellulite and stretch marks kinda in the same department. In fact, I already got cellulites and it ain't pretty, so I don't want my skin to end up like a road map after I give birth. My mom mentioned before to apply a baby oil on the tummy and my colleague said any skin lotion will do as long as it moistures your skin and adds to its elasticity. Well, I wanted a product that is natural coz heck, during this pregnancy, Fred and I are both paranoid, like avoiding any chemicals and stuff. I didn't go to get my hair permed and it's been long overdue, so I have to live with messy hair for at least another six months as long as lil bean inside is safe and healthy.

So, we went to L'Occitane to get Almond oil (the bottle on the right in the picture) after reading its review online. Actually I wasn't keen on getting an oil because I don't like the feel of oily/greasy skin. But this Almond oil doesn't leave my skin oily at all. As for whether it really does work in preventing stretch marks, that must have to wait until the baby is out :)
